Clinical Psychologist
Rachael is a clinical psychologist with several years of experience working in adult public mental health, including acute inpatient psychiatric settings, outpatient clinics, and medical wards. She provides person-centred and trauma-informed care, drawing on a range of evidenced-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, motivational interviewing, and attachment-focused frameworks.
Rachael supports people presenting with a variety of concerns, including mood-related issues, anxiety, relationship challenges, emotion dysregulation, personality challenges, grief and loss, and trauma. She has a particular interest supporting people across the perinatal period and the transition into parenthood. Rachael has completed further training in perinatal mental health through the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE) and is registered on the COPE directory for practitioners with expertise in perinatal mental health.
