Maddy has worked within the mental health field for 10+ years in community mental health, tertiary services, education settings, high performance sport and private practice, including headspace, The Royal Children’s Hospital, Align Psychology, Collingwood Football Club, Hawthorn Football Club and the AFLPA.
Her experience has largely been working with adolescents, their parents, and adults up to the age of 60-years-old with presentations that include anxiety, depression, life stage transitions (including entry into sport and retirement), stress, life-balance, sleep difficulties, disordered eating, pain management, injuries, and comorbid physical health conditions. In addition, Maddy has worked with athletes in community and high-performance environments, from various sports providing a holistic approach to their performance and wellbeing on and off the field.
Maddy provides compassionate support to help individuals navigate their unique journeys towards mental health and emotional well-being. Through tailored strategies and evidence-based practices, she empowers clients to uncover their strengths, set realistic goals, and foster resilience. Maddy’s approach is centred on understanding each person's context, ensuring they feel valued and heard throughout the process. Therapeutic techniques may include: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), CBT-E for Eating Disorders, Somatic Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Fees:
50 minute consultation sessions are $210. Health Care Card Holders session rate is negotiable.
Maddy is registered with Medicare. If you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan you are able to claim a rebate of $98.95 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
Referrals are accepted from Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Transport Accident Commission (TAC) and NDIS
